New Lake Record – 72lb

Odin made one of her rare showings last night at 72lb exactly.

Last out in May, post-spawn and still weighing in at a tad under 68lb, she decided that swim 3 was the place to be.

Very conveniently Helen had just been down to the lake and checked that Richard’s scales were all set up and zeroed correctly as they are a brand new set of 120lb Rueben Heaton’s.

The photograph does not do the situation the justice that it deserves as it was getting dark, but dark or not there is no mistaking those big plate scales and the micro-chip confirmed the details : Fish named Odin, tag number 3589977.

Well done Richard and well done Odin.
